We had a fun Mother's Day weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to the beach. The kids had a blast swimming and playing in the sand. Sunday we went to lunch at Boston's Fish House for fried shrimp, one of my favorite foods. After that, Emily and I went shopping. The kids gave me some terrific presents including a pretty angel music box, picture frame, a bird feeder and some flowers for the backyard. Emily had handpainted a ceramic trivet for me at school with her handprint on it. We went to the evening service at church that night. It was a great weekend. I am so blessed to be a mom.
