A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we met our friends the McCartney's from Illinois over at Clearwater Beach where they are vacationing. We had such a great time with them.

I took Emily and Noah for a walk to collect sea shells. Noah collected shells, rocks, sand and seaweed.

The kids had a blast playing in the water. The waves were pretty big. Usually the water on the Gulf Coast is calm, but not today.

After playing on the beach for most of the day, we walked back to the house and swam in the pool before dinner. Swimming and playing in the sun all day sure does make you hungry.
