Here are some pictures from a recent outing to the Gaylord Palms hotel to visit the ICE exhibit.
They were dancing on snowflakes on the ground.
Playing on the ice slide.
A life-size nativity made of ice.
Afterwards we enjoyed some hot chocolate while listening to Christmas music in the lobby of the Gaylord Palms.
Then we went on a scavenger hunt to find holiday gnomes hidden all around the lobby. Some of them were really hard to find. One of them was hidden inside this birdcage.
Only a Florida hotel would have alligators in the lobby.

Ice looks beautiful! I have always wanted to go and it has never worked out! I hope to get there someday! The carousel is beautiful!
I love: the Lord, my husband and kids, being a stay at home mom, trying out new recipes, shopping, the mountains, traveling, New York City, the ocean, rainy afternoons, hot chocolate on a cold day, coffee first thing in the morning, my morning quiet times, Bible studies, Reformed theology, reading a great novel, dates with my husband, girls night out, fall weather, football games, taking my kids to Disney, Christmas, going for walks at sunset, walking on the beach looking for seashells, an occasional glass of wine, steaks on the grill, sushi
