This weeks news from Wall Street shook up our family pretty bad. The next day my dad told me of a quote he had read that morning from The Valley of Vision, a book of Puritan prayers, that says: "O Lord you are good when you give and you are good when you take away". This reminded me of the Tree 63 song "Blessed Be the Name of the Lord" which is taken from the verse in Job that says:
"the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD"
No matter what happens with our money, the economy, the election, our jobs, our families, everything is under His control. He is sovereign over ALL and He is good. Blessed be the name of the LORD.
